Budding Artists

As we were getting packed up and ready to move, we couldn't help but notice all of the artwork that our children have left on the walls over the years. We took pictures so we could remember all their great talent so we could keep it with us always. Here are a few of their "masterpieces":

This is one of the first times that Josh wrote his name... too bad it was on our bedroom wall!


Kyle was teeny tiny when he drew this on our wall as well. We couldn't figure it out at first, but then it dawned on us that it was a person.


The next few are from the boys' closet.


Not to be left out, Megan left her own mark on the world:


We also found a few other things that cracked us up, but we didn't get pictures of them. It seems that the boys got mad at one of us for something, and wrote the following, "You don't understand us! Josh & Kyle" And, the one that got Barry laughing the most was this one written on a slat on one of the girl's beds: "If you can read this, Kyle did it!"

We don't expect to find any of these treasures on the walls of our new home... at least we better not! The kids are a bit older now, and hopefully more responsible. But, I'm glad that we have these pictures to help remind us of a time when they were little.
