I'm starting to feel OLD!

I don't feel like I should be much older than 18, but life is sure telling me these past couple of weeks that I am much older than that!

To start with, Kayti got her first college brochure in the mail the other day! What?!! NO!!! She is not old enough to be getting those yet!

We had a Madison Tri-Ward activity last week, and our ward was in charge. We did a Black & White Ball for all of the kids 12 and up. Seeing my 12 year old son dance with a girl was just a bit too much for me!!! Thank goodness I had my camera with me to capture the moment, though! ;)


Josh has become somewhat of a chick magnet lately. He's had girls spraying perfume on him, and drawing hearts on his arms. He got invited to his first boy-girl combined birthday and valentine party this week, too. The other day the kids were downstairs watching cartoons. Barry had just left for work, and Kayti and I were upstairs. Suddenly we heard this deep voice, and Kayti and I just stared at each other. It took us a minute to register the fact that the voice we heard was actually Josh. Dang, he sounds like his dad sometimes!

Add to all of this the fact that I turn 38 soon, and I'm getting depressed!
