These are a few of my favorite things...

I have really been in a festive Christmas mood this week. I will admit to being a real Scrooge over the past weekend, but this week has been a completely different story. I've had Christmas music playing, and yesterday I even started decorating the office at work. One of my co-workers told that I needed to knock it off because I was annoying her, but I didn't let that ruin my mood.

I'm not sure why I'm feeling so cheery. The past couple of years I have been very depressed and not at all excited for Christmas. I don't know why I was feeling that way, either, because Christmas in my favorite time of year. At any rate, though, I am thankful to be feeling so merry and cheery. I've been able to get several presents wrapped and put under the tree... a few even by candle-light the other night while we had a power outage!

I thought that I would share with you just a couple of my favorite decorations.


I got six of these beauties last year, 4 light blue ones and 2 silver ones. I LOVE them!!


These are my outside "Charley Brown" trees. I've had them for several years, but they always make me smile to see them lit up every night.
