Today (Tuesday) is Decades Day. This has been the day that Kayti has looked forward to since she was a Sophomore... Seniors get to dress up in 80's fashion! She and I had a lot of fun shopping yesterday for lace gloves and leg warmers. Where did we find such things in the year 2009? The Halloween Shop! She got up super early this morning so we could fix her hair and make up. I think she turned out just adorable. She is actually wearing my senior year school sweatshirt... something actually from the 80's!
I will admit to actually owning black lace gloves just like that, but I never wore my eye shadow like that! I would never wear green or blue eye shadow. I was all about the pinks and purples!
Josh didn't want to dress up yesterday. He said that he was going as himself since he was already a nerd. LAME! I asked him if he would wear an afro wig if I bought it for him, and he agreed, so I got him one. That was about as 70's as he got today!
They looked like a time-warp heading out the door this morning! So fun!!

Aaaaaaaahhh! The 80s... such good times. I wish I looked as good as Kayti back then though, giggle.
