For several years now our family has observed Valentine's Day together with a special family dinner. I can't even remember when we first started doing this, but it is something that we all look forward to. We always have a "red" food... spaghetti, baked ziti, red beans and rice... you get the idea! Barry's favorite meal is chili dogs, and we have had those a few times. Last night we had lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and individual chocolate heart cakes. We always decorate the table up as well; nice tablecloth, candles, hearts, chocolates. The kids always jump in and help, too, which is really fun.
Last year Barry got called in to work at the last minute on V-Day, and none of us had the heart to celebrate without him. We were all very thankful that he didn't have to go in this year, and we enjoyed our yummy dinner together.
Here are some quick pictures of our decorated table:

We hope all of you had a great day, and were able to celebrate it with the one(s) you love!
